Dogs and The Five Tibetans
When my friend Ella first started doing The Five Tibetans, her dogs used to want to sit on her or lick her - very difficult to remain 'present' with this going on! So, she had an idea: Put classical music on when she woke up to encourage them to relax and then begin her T5T practice. She thought she might be able to 'get them into a pattern'. It was rather successful as you can see! To learn more about Ella, who is "A communicator who entertains… or an entertainer who communicates? When you’re after one or the other, or both, Ella James is a unique solution" see

Each time I do my T5T, my little dog always has a stretch (a dog stretch of course) and is very keen to be involved. I think T5T creates energy around you and dogs can pick this up!

It's amazing to think that the downward dog posture and upward dog posture came from the observation of dogs awakening from sleep and stretching into these now familiar yoga poses. They do it so well!
